Blue. Green. Red. The Pacific Design Center (PDC) is a 1.6 million square-foot Class-A office and design showroom complex located in the heart of West Hollywood, at the corner of Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard. Designed by architect Cesar Pelli, the beautifully landscaped 14-acre campus consists of three buildings constructed over five decades – the 750,000 square-foot “Blue Whale,” which opened in 1975; the 450,000 square-foot Green Building, which opened in 1988; and the 400,000 square-foot Red Building, which Cohen Brothers built in 2012 as a state-of-the-art creative office complex.
A true multi-use facility, the PDC features two restaurants (Design Cafe & Silver Bullet Express); the SilverScreen Theater, a 294-seat state-of-the-art luxury film venue and reception facility; the Conference Center, a 200-seat facility fully equipped for conferences and meetings; and a Michael Graves-designed fitness center.
